Winner From Charity Event - Michelle

I donated a free photoshoot and prints for a charity event to help raise some money to send a poorly little girl who suffers from a very rare bowel disease (C.I.P.S (Chronic Intestinal Pseudo-obstruction ) causing this little girl to be unable to eat or drink, her dream was to disneyland paris and see her idol Minnie Mouse and her mummy's friends decided to help raise some funds to try and help them and they did a fantastic job the night went brilliantly and they raised enough and hopefully very soon with the doctors saying its ok she will be going.

Michelle came with her beautiful Daughter and her two nieces and sister for the session and they was fantastic, their was giggles all round and some lovely pictures taken of them all. Heres a few of my favourites from the session.

Its always lovely when you photograph newborns of clients capturing those very special moment while they are tiny and getting all the little details of them, and its even more special when you are related to them as it mean you get extra cuddles afterwards. The beautiful Donna answered a call out for a on location maternity session, she was already booked in for her newborn session, and it was a pleasure to meet her before her baby arrived, she was a fantastic model and we got some amazing on location images. When the time came for Donna's Newborn session Kiki was a week old, She was so tiny just over     5 lb and she was totally beautiful and very well behaved, we had her session done quite quickly and some beautiful images as well. A Few of my fav's from her session.

Dana Cake Smash (Rayleigh) - Thurrock Essex Family Photographer

A few people have asked what is a cakesmash and what to expect, I have done a  quite a few now and they can be lots of fun, if your child loves getting in a mess this is for them, if they like cake this is for them.

Things to remember you provide the cake from either a local baker or supermarket (I can't provide the cake for health and safety reasons I am not a baker this is best left to the professionals) choose a cake, the messy and more of the cream on the cake the better normal cakes don't have the same effect for the cream on their fingers and toes and little noses.

The start of the session is normal so bring a couple of outfits we will treat it like any normal session first with a few changes of outfits and then on to the fun.

We will then bring out the cake and let them go crazy with it, if they don't want to first thats ok give them a bit of time and they may want to play or we give them a wooden spoon and they can get to play this way.

With all cake smashes you will receive a 12x12 collage print of the session included in the packages as well as the other prints of your choice.

How old - Best for 1 or 2 Years (3 year olds can too if they are interested in this).

Here's a few of Dana's session, I think her rabbit and her mum enjoyed the cake more than Dana did.
